A Celebration of Talent and Tradition at Good Shepherd International School

We at Good Shepherd International School are filled with immense pride and joy as we reflect upon the magnificent two-day event that recently graced our campus on Thursday, October 16, and Friday, October 17, 2025. This celebration was a vibrant showcase of talent, discipline, and inspiring thought, truly embodying the spirit of our school community.

An Evening of Arts and Harmony

The festivities began on Thursday evening with a captivating Evening Programme. The heart of the evening lay in the diverse and high-caliber performances from our students.

Following the School Prayer led by School Captain Hridaan Dattani and the stirring Grand Opening by the Choir & Orchestra, our students took the stage to mesmerize the audience. Head of School, Mr. Vinod Singh, delivered the Welcome Address.

The programme was a rich tapestry of the arts, featuring:

• The energetic Rock Band

• The elegant Dance – Legends of Majestic Nihon

• Witty Stand-up Comedy

• The soothing Veena Performance by the IndiString Collective

• The synchronous movements of the Hybrid Dance

• The nostalgic melodies of Retro Rewind – A Medley of Old Bollywood Songs

• The powerful climax of the Grand Finale Dance – Nrittha

The evening concluded with the National Anthem and a delightful dinner, leaving all present with a profound appreciation for the creativity and hard work of our students.

A Morning of Honour and Inspiration

The second day, Friday, brought a special aura of ceremony and inspiration with the Morning Programme, featuring the arrival of our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Nandan Kamath, and the presence of Mrs. Sandhya Kumar.

The morning commenced with the utmost formality, including a General Salute, Guard of Honour, and a precision March Past. The drill displays were spectacular, with the Thrills Riding Showcase – “Gallop of Glory” and the Equestrian Display/Horse Show demonstrating remarkable discipline and skill.

The students’ agility shone through in the Wings Dance & Acro Yoga and the impressive Display of Mountaineering Skills.

The ceremonial proceedings then moved indoors. Following a heartfelt Welcome Address by School Captain Hridaan Dattani, Mrs. Sandhya Kumar presided over the important Special Awards and Prize Distribution, celebrating the well-deserved achievements of our students.

The pinnacle of the morning was the Address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Nandan Kamath, a renowned Lawyer and Sports Enthusiast. Mr. Kamath, a distinguished expert in sports and technology law, founder of LawNK Partners, co-founder of GoSports Foundation, and author of the award-winning book Boundary Lab, delivered an insightful and motivating address. His words undoubtedly left a lasting impact, encouraging our students to pursue excellence and integrity in all their endeavors.

The event culminated with a graceful Expression of Gratitude by School Captain Kyna Gulia and the National Anthem.

A Standard of Excellence

This two-day event was a resounding success, demonstrating not only the multifaceted talents of our students but also the commitment of our staff and the unwavering support of our parent community.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Mr. Nandan Kamath and Mrs. Sandhya Kumar for gracing us with their presence and sharing their invaluable time and wisdom.
