Talk to an Ambassador Parent
Hear from a GSIS parent who has lived the experience.
Choosing a residential school is a deeply personal decision. It is natural to have questions — not just about academics and facilities, but about how children settle in, how they are cared for, what daily life feels like, and how families stay connected.
Our Ambassador Parent Programme connects prospective families with current GSIS parents who can share their lived experience honestly and warmly.
This is not a formal admissions conversation. It is a parent-to-parent conversation — a chance to hear what life at GSIS feels like from someone who has walked the same path.
What you can ask about
You may speak to an Ambassador Parent about:
- How children settle into residential life
- Pastoral care and emotional wellbeing
- Daily routine and boarding life
- Food, health, safety, and supervision
- Communication between school and parents
- Academics, activities, sport, and co-curricular life
- Homesickness, adjustment, and independence
- What helped their family make the decision
