years as a full IB Continuum School
With the introduction of the Career-related Programme, GSIS joins a select group of schools worldwide offering the complete IB continuum—Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP)—providing multiple pathways for student success.
The IB Career-related Programme at GSIS equips motivated students with the qualifications, professional skills, and global credentials to pursue the future they have already begun imagining.
Launching in July 2027 as part of the school’s Golden Jubilee year, the IBCP combines the academic depth of the International Baccalaureate with focused career-related learning delivered by world-class university partners.Admissions enquiries for the inaugural cohort open in July 2026.
For students who already know where their interests lie—or are beginning to discover them—the programme offers a unique opportunity to connect academic learning with meaningful future pathways.
A Different Kind of IB
The Same Standard of Excellence.
The IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) is a globally recognised qualification that combines the academic rigour of the IB Diploma Programme with professional learning and personal development.
It is not a lighter version of the IB Diploma. It is a more focused one.
Students develop the knowledge, skills, habits, and credentials needed to succeed in higher education, future careers, and an increasingly complex world.
IB Diploma Subjects
Students will complete 3–4 IB Diploma Programme subjects, selected based on academic readiness, university aspirations, and pathway requirements.
Subjects may be taken at Standard Level (SL) and/or Higher Level (HL), subject to school guidance and programme expectations.
This flexibility allows students to build an academic programme that complements their chosen career-related pathway while maintaining strong university options.
Career-related Study
A professional curriculum delivered by globally recognised university partners.
Students earn meaningful university-level credentials while developing specialised knowledge and practical skills in their chosen area of interest.
CP Core

• Community Engagement
The CP Core develops students who are thoughtful, reflective, internationally minded, and prepared to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

Students must balance IB Diploma subjects, university-level career-related study, and the CP Core.
We will work closely with families during the admissions process to determine whether the programme is the right fit for each student.
