After an illustrious tenure of 37 years at GSIS, our dear Principal, Mrs. Sheila Alexander, will be retiring at the end of the AY 2022-23.
It is with mixed emotions that we announce that our dear Principal, Mrs. Sheila Alexander will be retiring at the end of the current academic year (2022-23), after a remarkable tenure of 37 years at GSIS. Her exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact on our school, and we will cherish her contributions forever. As she embarks on the next phase of her life, we wish her good health, joy, and contentment.
Sheila-ma’am began her journey with us as a Biology teacher at GSPS and over the years has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in her appointment as the Principal in 2020. Throughout her tenure, Sheila-ma’am has been a pillar of strength for all of us. Her unwavering dedication to the growth and development of our school has been truly inspiring. When she took on the role of Principal, she did so with a clear vision and unwavering commitment to lead us and guide us through a period of great uncertainty and change.
Sheila-ma’am’s contributions to our school are immeasurable. Under her inspirational leadership, GSIS has grown and thrived, with a strong focus on academic excellence, holistic education, and community development. Her perseverance, constant support, dedication, and incredible passion for students have made an indelible impact on the school and will be remembered for years to come. Her strong guidance and mentorship have made a significant difference in the lives of teachers and students of GSIS, contributing to their learning, personal development, and professional success.
