Depth, Not Detours.
Good Shepherd opened its doors in 1977 on the ICSE curriculum. In 1995, we became GSIS and introduced Cambridge; ISC followed in 1996. The IB Diploma arrived in 2001, and in 2021 — after two decades of steady growth — we achieved full IB Continuum status, adding the Primary Years and Middle Years Programmes. Today, ICSE, ISC, Cambridge IGCSE and the complete IB Continuum sit under one roof: forty-nine years of deliberate, layered growth, with nothing left behind along the way.
A Campus Built for More Than the Classroom.
A working equestrian centre with 30 horses. Cricket, football and hockey grounds, a 400-metre athletics track, heated pool, a world-class golf facility, and ranges for archery and rifle shooting. A 1,100-seat auditorium and an open-air amphitheatre for music, theatre and the arts. Design, robotics and STEM labs where students build, not just study. Fifteen competitive sports, 44+ co-curricular programmes — all part of an ordinary week at GSIS.

We Measure Growth In More Than Grades
Academics are the foundation, never the whole picture. Co-curricular life — sport, the arts, leadership, service — carries the same weight as the classroom. From Grade 6, every student moves through THRIVE, our seven- year life-skills journey covering self-awareness, communication, integrity and leadership — because character, like curriculum, is something we build deliberately.
A Campus that Never Stops Teaching.
Living on campus isn’t a logistics decision — it converts over 460 hours a year that would otherwise be spent commuting into guided growth. Across 26 boarding houses, houseparents, mentors, a counsellor and a resident medical team are part of daily life, backed by two on-campus infirmaries. Meals come largely from our own farms. Phones give way to real conversation. No one is sent away to GSIS — children come here, to a community that will know them deeply, care for them consistently, and raise them alongside their families.
