A Personalised Learning Experience
In keeping with our philosophy of a different school of thought in action, the Cambridge programme is designed to be highly personalized. With small class sizes and dedicated academic mentors, every learner receives focused attention and support.
Beyond academics, the programme emphasizes hands-on experiences through project-based learning, field trips, and experiential sessions in labs, ensuring that concepts are not just studied but lived.
Regular progress reviews, subject-specific coaching, and one-on-one guidance further help students hone essential skills such as time management, research, collaboration, and critical thinking, empowering them to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Beyond the Classroom
At GSIS, the Cambridge years are an equally rich time for co-curricular exploration. Students engage daily in sports, performing arts, visual arts, and a wide range of clubs — from debate and STEM innovation to horseback riding and music production. This daily immersion develops confidence, creativity, and discipline, complementing their academic journey.
Residential life plays a vital role. Our Cambridge students live in a safe, structured, and inclusive boarding environment where pastoral care, mentorship, and cultural exchange are part of everyday life. House parents, counsellors, and faculty create a home away from home, nurturing well-being and resilience.
Leadership &
Growth Opportunities
Leadership development is woven into the Cambridge experience. Students take on roles such as House Captains, club leaders, event organisers, and community service coordinators. They participate in cultural festivals, adventure treks, and inter-school competitions — real-world experiences that build teamwork, initiative, and global citizenship.
The IFSPD Programme is a holistic initiative aimed at shaping responsible, skilled, and future-ready individuals. At its heart, the programme nurtures a strong sense of responsibility towards sustainability—empowering students to integrate it into their daily lives as a core value rather than just an academic concept.
Through experiential learning, real-world problem-solving, and project-based initiatives, students actively explore pressing global and local issues such as climate change, resource management, and social equity. They are encouraged to conduct research, analyze evidence, and design innovative solutions—developing research skills that sharpen their ability to think critically and evaluate information.
Beyond academics, IFSPD places significant emphasis on equipping learners with essential 21st-century skills. Students refine their communication skills through debates, public speaking exercises, and presentations, learning to express ideas with clarity and confidence.
They strengthen their social and collaborative skills by working in diverse teams, engaging in meaningful discussions, and respecting multiple perspectives while striving for common solutions. Through planning, organizing, and reflecting on their progress, they cultivate self-management skills that help them take initiative, meet deadlines, and balance responsibilities effectively.
By integrating leadership opportunities, teamwork experiences, and exposure to real-life challenges, the programme ensures that students not only grow academically but also develop into empathetic, socially aware, and solution-driven individuals.
In essence, the IFSPD Programme is more than just an academic journey—it is a transformative experience that empowers students to live the values of sustainability, responsibility, and collaboration, while building the critical skills needed to lead and inspire positive change in the future.
