Message from the Coordinator – CISCE
At GSIS, the CISCE curriculum has been central to our educational vision since the school’s inception in 1977, when the ICSE programme began, followed by the ISC in 1996. It balances academic rigor with holistic development, combining strong conceptual foundations, experiential learning, and co-curricular engagement. This approach enables students to build academic excellence while developing critical thinking, creativity, and personal responsibility to thrive in their future pursuits.
The CISCE programme encourages depth of understanding over rote learning, fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving. With balanced attention to languages, sciences, mathematics, and humanities, it nurtures both intellectual versatility and cultural awareness. Its continuous assessment and research-based learning further strengthen discipline, communication, and self-management—skills essential for success in higher studies and beyond.
