Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla, the Founder of the Serum Institute of India, world’s largest manufacturer of COVID-19 vaccines, visited GSIS Ooty on 25th March. It was a great experience to have him on the campus and speak to our prefects along with taking a tour of the GSIS campus.

Dr. Poonawalla is the Chairman of the Poonawalla group, which includes the Serum Institute of India, the Indian biotech company that is the largest manufacturer of the COVID-19 vaccine.
